SECTION WAITER

Trattoria Emilia is a Chef Hat-awarded Italian restaurant in Melbourne's CBD, specialising in the food of Emilia-Romagna. We are seeking an experienced, all-round Section Waiter with a sound knowledge of wine, cocktails, and coffee to join our front-of-house team. We are a close-knit group that runs on passion and enthusiasm. If you are looking for your next role in a fast-paced environment amongst skilled front-of-house staff, then this is the role for you.

For this role, you will need to:

  • Have at least one year of experience as a section waiter in a busy restaurant environment

  • Have sound knowledge of wine, cocktails, and coffee

  • Have great communication skills and the ability to work in a team

  • Have the ability to work autonomously and efficiently

  • Full-time, rotating roster with Sundays off and another day

  • We are closed on public holidays and break over summer for Christmas

KITCHEN HAND

Trattoria Emilia is seeking a kitchen hand to join our team. We are a close-knit group that runs on passion and enthusiasm. You will provide support to all chefs whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace.

For this role, you will need to:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or similar

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous

  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
